The company was founded by ElSewedy Capital Holding (40% stake) and Cairo for Investment and Real Estate Development - CIRA (60% stake). Within the upcoming 3 years, Cairo Misr Company plans to establish 5 new schools (2 under the BCCIS brand, 2 under the SIS brand and one under the Regent brand and a private university in Damietta) Founded in 1993, CIRA is the largest integrated provider of educational services in the Egyptian private sector. CIRA operates 21 schools with 26.5K students for the academic year 2019/2020 and owns Badr University in Cairo with a total student body of 10.3K in 13 different faculties
